STRIKE
I wasn’t looking for it.
It was just on.
A room full of people introducing a candidate— one after another, speaking what he would fix, what wasn’t working, what had been neglected, what needed to change.
And as I listened…
it didn’t feel new.
It felt familiar.
Not in a comforting way— in a recognizing way.…
Lived Moment:
I walked out again, same path, same space.
Nothing had changed.
The buildings were still there.
The plants were still there.
The sky… still doing what it does.
But something in me wasn’t trying to “figure it out” anymore.
I wasn’t waiting for the perfect moment.
I wasn’t measuring the day against anything.…

I walked the same path again.
Same houses.
Same plants.
Same sky above me.
But this time… I didn’t check.
I didn’t look up to see if it was clear.
I didn’t measure the light.
I didn’t wait for something to change.
I just walked.

“that’s where it changed.”
It wasn’t loud.
It wasn’t dramatic.
Nothing broke.
Things just started to feel… off.
Not wrong.
Not bad.
Just not the same as they used to.

It isn’t.
There wasn’t a line I crossed or a decision I sat down and made.
There wasn’t a day where everything changed and I knew it.
It was smaller than that.
Quieter.
